KIT (Kids in Transition)

East Valley Women's League supports SEEDS for Autism, a 501c3 organization that is uniquely focused on supporting young adults transition from high school to the work place.  SEEDS offers a supportive environment for students with professional artisans teaching a variety of skills in woodworking, ceramics, welding, jewelry making and other valuable trades.  The ultimate goal is to help these talented students transition from "learning to earning."  EVWL supports this mission through financial support, scholarships for those otherwise unable to attend, volunteer hours working with students and staff, as well as by hosting seasonal events and trunk shows for SEEDS to showcase their beautiful items throughout the year.

EVWL is a 501c3 Arizona non-profit that supports underprivileged  women and children
in our community.

SEEDS for Autism

East Valley Women’s League’s KIT (Kids in Transition) provides teens in the care of DCS, the dignity of good hygiene by supplying bags filled with full-sized toiletries.

Our program focuses on teens in the foster system and supplies them with their own hygiene products to take with them to their next home. 42% of the children in foster care are placed with relatives who only get $50/month to support the needs of the child.

We buy most of the items but have been fortunate to receive donations from Delta Dental and from companies that have held donation drives, including Digital Air Strike.
